I know this may not be what you're expecting with this title, but I gotta ask something. (Frankly I'm not even fully sure why I feel I need to do this.)

But, I recently managed to find translations for a bunch of K. Haruka's doujinshi, and went on a reading binge, but I gotta say, I'm a bit torn on how I feel about them.  The art is beautiful and her stories are just pure awesome, but with very few exceptions, the sex scenes bother me.  Don't get me wrong, they're really hot and all but, Cid just seems really abusive, and Vincent lets him do whatever just because he doesn't feel like he has the right to refuse.  Even when he does refuse, Cid still doesn't stop.  Typically, when your lover says, "No, don't."  Or "That hurts."  You should probably stop.  I mean, Vincent even hits him a couple times, and tells him to stop, and Cid tells him to stop being difficult, and flips him over.  That just doesn't seem in character for him... right?  I know I sugar coat Cid a bit, but I don't want to think that he's sexually abusive.  He did have that whole thing with him being a dick to Shera, but that was really the only circumstance of him really being mean.  Am I alone with this, or am I just over thinking it?  There's no way I'm gonna stop reading them, those parts just kinda bug me. (I think the only thing outside of the sex scenes that bother me is Vincent actually liking Hojo in Hell Masker.  Just, no.)

I really don't like K. Haruka's portrayal of Cid. I remember reading most of her doujins online ages ago with a constant frown on my face everytime Cid tries to have sex with Vincent and he's all "No, no!" ugh.
